Going beyond Easter baskets
Easter is celebrated in different ways, wide traditions and rituals by people all over the world. It is celebrated to mark the beginning of spring time and end of winter time that is end of cold weather to enjoy the commencement of lovely summer time.
People celebrate it with preparing different and luscious delicacies. It is a feast for people all over the world. In fact lots of families play lots of games on Easter Sunday. The elders of the family would arrange a treasure hunt for the kids i.e. they hide the eggs all over the house at different places. Then the kids would hunt for those eggs and in turn they would get candies and goodies from the elders. The elders say that these eggs are hidden by the Easter Bunny at night which the kids need to find to get the Easter Basket loaded with goodies. Like this the whole of Sunday is celebrated with fun and joy.
Even in the Church the Easter festival is celebrated with more energy and fun. From the usual Sunday mass on Easter Sunday the services are coupled with energetic festival note. More music is played with additional instruments which add a lively soul to the usual prayers being offered by people. On this day the priest of the church would also bless the Easter baskets of the people which are a symbol of life and renewal.
